League-Leading Stars go COLD at Home, scoring just 10 Goals & winning just Two!

ST LOUIS-  Game was scoreless till halfway thru period two when Evgeny Kuznetsov batted one by Bobrovsky, then he did his “Dodo Bird” imatation, flapping his arms up & down while skating by the Dallas bench!  On the ensuing face-off, Marchand got Kuznetsov to drop the gloves & both got 5-minute Majors!  Blues hung on to the 1-0 lead till halfway thru period 3 when Brad Marchand tied it with a PPG!  With about 5 minutes left, Brayden Point put the game away, scoring twice in a minute & 15 seconds for the 3-1 Win!
NEW YORK I-  Islanders take 2-1 lead into the Final period, thanks in part to Goaltender Devan Dubynk, who made highlite reel saves on Bertuzzi(1-12) & Arvidsson(1-16) in the 1st period, when Dallas fired 18 SOG!  Alex Steen made it 3-1 & it looked to be over but Mike Hoffman scored with 5 min left to draw Dallas close.  Down a Goal, Stars get a late Power-Play, but Patrice Bergeron wins the draw & the Stars never see the puck again, ending their 5-game Home Winning Streak!
CHICAGO-  Jordan Stall with just his 2nd Goal of the season got the Winner in a 2-1 Goaltender duel!  Bobrovsky had a Shutout going till Rookie Pierre- Luc Dubois scored with just 6 min left in game as Stars hang on for Win!
SAN JOSE-  Phil “The Thrill” Kessel & Nikita Kuchhhherovvv both scored in the 1st Period & that would be enough in a 3-1 Win at American Airlines Arena!  Twitter favorite Roberto Luongo made 39 saves(6/7 gr’s)for #1 Star!  Coach Hunter post-game barked ” Bob held us in game after the first period(8/9 gr’s) & Tarasenko(1-16) Yandle twice(1-6,1-11)but that PPG in the 3rd(Landeskog) seemed to deflate our Offense”
COLORADO-  The Avalanche break up a close 2-1 game early in the 3rd when Anders Lee & Auston Matthews both score just 33 seconds apart for a 4-1 Lead!  Brayden Point would answer back on that same opening shift & the Stars had momentum back, but Carter Hutton(12/14 gr’s) kept slamming the door!  J. T. Miller failed to clear a rebound & 1st Star Steven Stamkos slammed home the Av’s 5th Goal  & despite 20 Shots in the 3rd by the Stars, the Final was 5-2!  Coach Hunter, possibly facing a fine said ” Those damn Zebra’s didnt do their job, all that hooking & slashing
