GAME STORY – Game 6
The visitors from St. Louis had no difficulty defeating Los Angeles by
a score of 4 to 1. St. Louis scored 3 goals in the second period.
ERIC STAAL scored one goal and contributed two assists for St. Louis.
And MILAN LUCIC scored one goal and passed for three assists. CAREY PRICE
was sharp in goal. He gave up just a lone goal while facing 36 shots.
Other goal scorers were NICK FOLIGNO and RICK NASH for St. Louis and SEAN
COUTURIER for Los Angeles.


GAME STORY – Game 7
The visiting team from Toronto won by one goal over Los Angeles by a final
tally of 4 to 3. Toronto was relentless outshooting Los Angeles 42 to
25. PATRIC HORNQVIST scored the game winner at 0:29 of the 3rd period.
HORNQVIST scored one goal and passed for three assists for Toronto. Other
goal scorers were SIDNEY CROSBY, BRYAN LITTLE and BRENT SEABROOK for Toronto
and ALEX OVECHKIN, SEAN COUTURIER and SHEA WEBER for Los Angeles.


GAME STORY – Game 8
The visiting team from Minnesota had no difficulty defeating Los Angeles
by a score of 4 to 1. NATHAN MacKINNON had two goals on 6 shots for
Minnesota. And JOONAS DONSKOI scored twice. A goal was also registered
by MATT CULLEN for Los Angeles. With the road victory Minnesota has now
recorded 7 wins and 14 points for the season.


GAME STORY – Game 9
On their home ice Los Angeles won a close one against Philadelphia by
a final tally of 4 to 3. PATRICK KANE scored the game winner at 8:57
of the 3rd period. MATHIEU PERREAULT had two goals for Philadelphia.
And ALEX OVECHKIN found the net twice for Los Angeles. Others registering
goals were ANDREW COGLIANO for Philadelphia and MIKA ZIBANEJAD for Los Angeles.


GAME STORY – Game 10
In their home arena Los Angeles won a close one against Buffalo by the
score of 3 to 2. MIKA ZIBANEJAD netted the last goal, the game winner,
at 18:08 of the 3rd period. DAVID PASTRNAK had two goals for Buffalo.
Others registering goals were ALEX OVECHKIN and BRANDON SAAD for Los Angeles.
With the victory Los Angeles now has 6 wins and 13 points on the season.
