Colorado at St.Louis Block 2

This was one of those games where you get the eerie feeling the Strat gods are angry. LOL… Penetrating does not seem to ever work, cards pulled are always lose puck, etc. and even when I tried to pull my goalie in the last two minutes (4 on 4) I still was unable. Or at least I did but the card reading did not read powerplay but “Offense 3-2”. So even that never worked. But what comes around goes around as I was on the advantage side of one of those games against Chicago.

But give Colorado credit, they have a great lineup of quality shooters and Pekka Rinne badly outplayed Andrei Vasilevskiy. Blues kept fighting back and thought things were getting better when Rick Nash tied it at the 13 minute mark of the third. But Colorado scored a minute later to puck up the win.

Tampa at St.Louis block 2

The Blues go 2/3 on the powerplay as Milan Lucic scored both powerplay goals as the Blues defeat the Lighting in a close encounter.
Brandon Sutter chips in his first of the year for the Blues. Mark Scheifele and Patrick Eaves also scored in this one. The Lightning have collected a lof of good young players. This will be a team to reckon with in a few years. Nice job by Tim.
