In a word, the Strat gods blessed the Blues . We got every conceivable dice roll and card flip in this one. The only thing that never went the Blues way was Braden Holtby. In a word, he was superb stopping many early goalie ratings to keep the game close.

GAME STORY
In their home arena St. Louis had no difficulty defeating Chicago by
a final score of 3 to 0. St. Louis sustained a constant attack outshooting
Chicago 40 to 25. The first goal was the winner as MILAN LUCIC lit the
lamp 5:49 of the 1st period. CAREY PRICE was outstanding in goal. He
was flawless in the shutout while facing 25 shots. Others who scored were
RICK NASH and OLIVER EKMAN-LARSSON for St. Louis.
